How to play craps:

Wagering:

The craps table on your screen is exactly the same as a real time Casino craps table. In order to place a bet click on the chip holder at the bottom of your screen. A text will appear highlighted in yellow indicating the value of that chip. You must click in the proper area in order to select a chip for that amount. Once the chip has been selected, you can drag it all over the Craps table and once you have decided where you will place your bet, point your cursor to the area on which you will place your wager and release it by clicking it once more.

Whenever there is bet available to place you will see a message highlighted in yellow with the payout for this bet. If you change your mind for this particular bet simply click on the chip and it will be removed from the Craps table. NOTE: You cannot remove only one chip if you already placed several chips placed on the bet. You must drag chip by chip off the table and start all over.

Types Of Bets:

Pass Line Bet: This is the basic bet in Craps. You win if your first roll (the "come out" roll) is a 7 or 11, and you lose if the come out roll is Craps (2, 3 or 12). If any other number comes up on the come-out roll, that number becomes the "point." The "ON" marker on the Craps table marks the point. The object is to roll the point before rolling a 7. If the point comes up before a 7, you win the Pass Line bet. If a 7 comes up before the point, you lose the bet.

Don't Pass Bet:

This is the opposite of the Pass bet. This bet wins if you roll craps (2 or 3) on the come-out roll -- 12 is a "push" -- or if you don't make the point. You LOSE the bet if a 7 or 11 are thrown on the come-out roll.

Come Bet:

This bet follows the same rules as the Pass Line bet, except that it is made AFTER the point has been established for the Pass Line bet. If the "ON" marker shows a point, you cannot make another Pass Line bet until the point is made or a 7 is rolled. Come bets can be made at any time, except on the come-out roll.

Don't Come Bet:

This bet follows the same rules as the Don't Pass bet, except that it is made AFTER the point has been established for the Pass Line bet on the craps table. If the "ON" marker shows a point, you cannot make another Don't Pass bet until the point is made or a 7 is rolled. Don't Come Bets can be made at any time, except on the come-out roll.

Craps Odds Bet:

This is an additional bet made on a Pass, Don't Pass, Come or Don't Come Bet that has already been placed. Odds bets can be placed only after the point has been established. The advantage of an odds bet is that it is paid out at the correct odds. If the point is 4 or 10, the Odds bet pays 2-1; if the point is 5 or 9, an Odds Bet pays 3-2; and if the point is 6 or 8, an Odds bet pays 6-5. To place on Odds bet, click on the chip of the bet already made. You may make an Odds bet of up to double the amount of your original bet. You may bet up 2.5 times your bet amount if the point is a "6" or "8".

Place Bet:

This bet can be made on the following numbers: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10, located in the row across the top of the Craps table. It is a bet that the chosen number will be thrown BEFORE a Seven. To make a Place bet, click between the two narrow lines inside the box containing the number you want to bet on.

Field Bet:

This is a bet on the outcome of the next throw. It pays even money if a 3, 4, 9, 10 or 11 is thrown, and it pays 2-1 if a 2 or 12 is thrown.

Hardway Bet:

This bet can be made on 4, 6, 8 or 10. It is a bet that the chosen number will be thrown "the hard way" -- 2-2, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5 -- before a 7 is rolled AND before the chosen number is thrown in any other combination. Hardway bets on 4 and 10 pay off 9-1; hardway bets on 6 and 8 pay off 7-1. NOTE: Hardway bets are "off" on the come-out roll. This is indicated by the blue chips turning red. After the come-out roll, the bet is "on" again -- unless you remove it before the next roll.

Seven:

This is a bet on the outcome of the next throw. It pays 4-1 if a 7 is rolled on the next throw.

Rules of Craps:

Craps:

This is a bet on the outcome of the next throw. It pays 7-1 if a 2, 3 or 12 are rolled on the next throw. Craps "2": This is a bet on the outcome of the next throw. It pays 30-1 if a 2 is rolled on the next throw. Craps "3": This is a bet on the outcome of the next throw. It pays 15-1 if a 3 is rolled on the next throw. Craps "12": This is a bet on the outcome of the next throw. It pays 30-1 if a 12 is rolled on the next throw.

Eleven:

This is a bet on the outcome of the next throw. It pays 15-1 if an 11 is rolled on the next throw on the craps table.

Horn Bet:

This is a single-roll bet on any craps (2, 3 or 12) and 11. Odds are paid out accordingly.

Playing Craps:

When all bets are in place, press the "ROLL" button. (Note that players cannot roll until there is at least 1 chip bet on the table.) The dice will be thrown from the left to the right side of the screen. When the dice have come to rest on the craps table, they will be displayed at the top left of your screen. Any winnings are automatically collected by the dealer and placed in your chip holder and your account will be credited accordingly.

Winning chips are presented to the player in yellow. If you have a Come or Don't Come Bet, when the Come/Don't Come point is established the chip is moved from the Come or Don't Come line to the proper position below or above the point number.

Craps Odds Bets:

An Odds bet is made by clicking immediately above the chip representing the original bet. When making an Odds bet, a second chip will appear below the original bet displaying the amount bet on the odds. The Odds bet can be removed from the table at any time. The Odds bet can be increased or decreased using the left and right buttons of your mouse as described above. The amount of the Odds bet can be no more than twice the amount of the original bet.

How To Read Odds in Craps:

For example, 2-1 is read as "2 to 1" and means that you would win $2 for every $1 bet ($3 total).
